Custom supplement formulation
From ingredient selection to final formula spec.
How formulation development works
Brands begin with an ingredient brief outlining the intended functional outcome, such as energy support, sleep, joint health, or a custom blend. We review compatibility across our ingredient library, complete a stability pre-check, then prepare a draft formula specification and projected nutrient panel.
Development generally takes 3 to 5 weeks from brief acceptance to final specification. The deliverable is a complete formula spec document prepared for manufacturing intake.
- 1The brand shares functional targets, certification needs, and any existing formula limitations.
- 2We review ingredient pairings against our library for known interaction risks and stability at the target fill weight.
- 3The deliverable includes ingredient quantities, a projected supplement facts panel, and batch production notes.
Ingredient scope
Our team works from an established library of vitamins and minerals in standard and bioavailable forms, botanical and herbal extracts including Ayurvedic actives, amino acids, probiotics, prebiotic fibres, and sports nutrition actives.

Compliance and label support
Alongside the formula specification, Leumas provides a draft supplement facts panel formatted to the target market, an FSSAI compliance reference check for India domestic products, and an export compliance outline covering key US and EU requirements.
Brands appoint their own regulatory counsel for final label approval and market authorization. Our documentation supports that review as working input, not as a regulatory approval.
Markets in our compliance outline
- India (FSSAI supplement category)
- United States (FDA dietary supplement framework)
- European Union (food supplement directive outline)
Note: qualified regulatory counsel is required for submissions and approvals. Leumas documentation is working input, not a regulatory filing.
